Wed 20 February 2019, 13:18|Tottenham Hotspur
Supporters visiting our Spurs Shops on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (22-24 February) will have the chance to meet some of our greatest former players.
Cliff Jones, Martin Chivers, Graham Roberts, Micky Hazard, Steve Sedgley and Paul Miller will be across our stores in Harlow, Stevenage and the Spurs Shop at the Tottenham Experience.
Details of each store visit, and who is due to attend, are below. The events are scheduled to take place between 12.30pm-2.30pm.
Martin Chivers/Cliff Jones - Harlow - Friday
Third in our all-time goalscoring list with 174 goals in 367 appearances between 1968-76, Martin overcame serious injury to help us win the League Cup in 1971, the UEFA Cup in 1972 and the League Cup again in 1973. He scored both goals against Villa in the 1971 League Cup Final at Wembley and then twice again in the first leg of the UEFA Cup Final against Wolves.
Now fifth on our all-time goalscoring list with 159 goals in 378 appearances between 1958-68, Cliff played a key part in our 'double' triumph of league and FA Cup in 1961, when he scored 19 goals. He followed up with two more FA Cups in 1962 and 1967 and helped us make history by becoming the first British club to lift a European trophy in 1963.
Meet 'Big Chiv' and Cliff at 33b The Harvey Centre, Harlow, CM20 1XW.
Graham Roberts/Micky Hazard - Tottenham Experience - Saturday
Captain and goalscorer on the night we lifted the UEFA Cup at the Lane in 1984, Graham made 287 appearances for us between 1980-1986. He also won the FA Cup in 1981 and 1982, playing in all six finals - both FA Cup finals went to replays and the UEFA Cup was held over two legs.
Both 'Robbo' and Micky remain firm fans' favourites. Micky came through the youth system in the late 1970s to make 160 appearances for us in two spells. He played in the 1982 FA Cup Final win against QPR and arguably saved his best performance for the UEFA Cup Final, second leg against Anderlecht in 1984, where his cross was converted by Robbo to take the game to extra time and penalties.
Meet Robbo and Micky at the Tottenham Experience at the new stadium.
Steve Sedgley/Paul Miller - Stevenage - Sunday
Another player to come through the ranks, Paul made 285 appearances for us between 1979-87. He lifted the FA Cup in 1981, 1982 and the UEFA Cup in 1984. 'Maxi' played a huge part in that UEFA Cup success in 1984 when he scored our away goal in the first leg of the final against Anderlecht. He appeared in all our finals between 1981-86 - two FA Cup Finals and replays, the League Cup in 1982 and both legs of the UEFA Cup.
Steve joined us from Coventry City in 1989 and went on to make 211 appearances between 1989-94. He helped us lift the FA Cup in 1991, starting the semi-final against Arsenal and then the final against Forest.
Meet Paul and Steve at 6a Westgate Centre, Stevenage, SG11QR.
