New contracts for Tottenham Hotspur Women coaching staff

Fri 23 August 2019, 16:30|Tottenham Hotspur

We are delighted to announce that Karen Hills and Juan Amoros have signed new contracts as Head Coaches of Tottenham Hotspur Women.

Karen took over at the helm in 2007 when the team was competing in the London and South-East Regional Premier Division, and was joined by Juan in 2011.

Since their appointments, the duo have overseen the team’s progression through the women’s football league structure, to the point where we are currently preparing for our first-ever season in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League (WSL) – the top level of the women’s game.

They recently led the team in their first-ever European fixtures as they finished as runners-up at the Ramón de Carranza Trophy in Cadiz, Spain, with further pre-season matches coming up at Arsenal (Sunday 25 August) and West Ham United (Sunday 1 September) ahead of our historic first WSL fixture against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday 8 September.
