Club to reward its Official Supporters' Clubs

• We have launched our annual Official Supporters’ Club Awards...with a difference
• New award categories for 2019 - To Care Is to Do and Instagram Moment of the Year - will reward clubs themselves for their fantastic support
• Entries for these awards will be judged by our First Team players
• We hope that those Official Supporters’ Clubs who enter the awards will be able to attend an exclusive awards ceremony on Saturday 11 May at the new stadium, where the winners will be announced
• Club now has 200 Official Supporters’ Clubs worldwide

For years, our Official Supporters’ Clubs have been rewarding our players at the end of each season for their achievements on the pitch.

This year, we are turning the spotlight onto our fans and rewarding the clubs themselves for the incredible support and dedication you have shown us throughout the season.

The 2019 Official Supporters’ Club Awards will now consist of four categories. These are:

• Instagram Moment of the Year: This award will go to a club that shows us their most ‘Instagrammable’ moment of the season - we want to make you ‘Insta-famous’! Post photos and video clips of your memorable moments captured whether it’s your match-watching dress codes, wild goal celebrations or meeting a player or Legend, and we’ll share them. We know Spurs means everything to you, so share with us just how much. The more entertaining the better!

• To Care Is to Do: This award will honour clubs for their outstanding contributions to charitable causes. We know many of our Supporters’ Clubs go above and beyond to help good causes in their communities all in the name of Spurs – whether it’s Punjabi Spurs volunteering at a soup kitchen in Tottenham, Malaysia Spurs fundraising for a local orphanage or Atlanta Spurs building homes for vulnerable people, we want to hear about your outstanding efforts. Move and inspire us your entries. We want you to be recognised for your good work.

• Goal of the Season: We have selected four outstanding goals from this season. Take your pick from Heung-Min Son’s solo effort against Chelsea, Dele’s cheeky Carabao Cup goal against Arsenal, Harry Kane’s long-range strike against Wolves or Christian Eriksen’s first-time belter against Everton - relive the best moments of the season whilst you cast your vote.

• Player of the Season: Decide who you think has been our standout performer this season.

The winners of the To Care Is to Do and Instagram Moment of the Year awards will be judged by our First Team players - we’ll capture their reactions on camera and share these on our social media channels for you to enjoy.

We hope that those Official Supporters’ Clubs who enter the awards will be able attend an exclusive awards ceremony on Saturday 11 May at the new stadium, where the winners will be announced.

During the ceremony, there will also be a chance to visit our Official Supporters’ Clubs feature wall located on the Level 1 North East corner of the stadium. This wall depicts scarves representing groups from around the world from the USA to China, Barbados to Ethiopia, and of course those closer to home such as Maidenhead, Rochester, Scunthorpe, Guernsey and Durham.

The winners of the Player of the Season and Goal of the Season will be presented with their awards by a randomly selected Supporters’ Club member on the pitch after our final Premier League fixture of the season against Everton on Sunday 12 May.

The awards are open from today and close at 23.00 GMT this Sunday, 28 April.

How to enter the Official Supporters’ Club Awards:

Instagram Moment of the Year Award:

• Upload photographs and/or a short video of your club’s most ‘Instagrammable’ moment of the season to your Official Supporters’ Club Instagram page with a short description of what the moment means to you and your members
• Tag @SpursOfficial and use the hashtag #TogetherTHFC
• Whether it’s your match-watching dress codes, wild goal celebrations or meeting a player or Legend, we want to see your passion, devotion and dedication to Spurs in the most creative of ways
• Alternatively, you can email your photos and/or video entry to supporters.clubs@tottenhamhotspur.com

To Care Is To Do Award:

• Upload a short video explaining why your club should win to your Official Supporters’ Club Twitter page
• Tag @SpursOfficial and use the hashtag #ToCareIsToDo
• The video should detail what your club has done to support charitable causes, including information on the charity or cause itself, how much you have raised and the difference you have made to those most in need within your local community
• We expect to be inspired by your entries
• Alternatively, you can email your video entry to supporters.clubs@tottenhamhotspur.com

Player of the Season and Goal of the Season:

• Each Official Supporters’ Club Chairperson will receive an email from the Club with a link to complete the online voting poll
