Jan Vertonghen has become only the fourth player in our history to reach 50 appearances for the Club in European competition.

The Belgian defender - now his country's most-capped player - joined skipper Hugo Lloris, now on 51, Aaron Lennon (58) and Steve Perryman (64) on 50-plus in the dramatic Champions League quarter-final, second leg at City. Hugo hit the 50 mark in the first leg.

Heung-Min Son has moved up to 12 goals in Europe for the Club - level with all-time great Bobby Smith - after his double at the Etihad. Sonny scored three goals of our four goals over the two legs as we progressed on away goals after the 4-4 draw on aggregate.

Only 10 players have scored 10-plus goals in Europe for the Club, the list topped by Harry Kane on 24.
