Information for fans travelling to Brighton

Wed 19 September 2018, 18:00|Tottenham Hotspur

Brighton have produced a guide for away fans travelling to the American Express Community Stadium.

We've picked out some key points below ahead of Saturday's Premier League fixture.

Remember, we kick-off at 5.30pm.

You can download the guide in full (pdf) HERE...

Free bus travel

It's worth noting that on a matchday, the cost of bus travel to the Amex Stadium is included in your ticket on all Brighton and Hove buses, including services Lewes to Ringmer, Uckfield and Royal Tunbridge Wells.

Show the driver your ticket, smartcard or proof of purchase if collecting tickets at the stadium.

Train travel

It's a short walk from Falmer station to the north concourse of the Amex Stadium. It is served by Southern Rail and is approximately nine minutes from Brighton mainline station.

For all Premier League games, Brighton offer home and away fans subsidised train travel within the Travel Zone - from Brighton and Falmer out to Haywards Heath, Eastbourne and Worthing. You can use your match ticket, Season Ticket or proof of match ticket purchase to obtain subsidised travel. Full details in the travel guide.

Park & Ride

Brighton currently have two of three Park & Ride sites open, as follows:

Park & Ride 1 (formerly Mill Road Park & Ride) - BN1 8ZF
This car park has 450 spaces available and is usually full 90 minutes before kick-off - in this case, 4pm.

Park & Ride 3 (formerly Brighton Racecourse Park & Ride) - BN2 9XZ
This site has 700 spaces and buses usually take approximately 20 minutes to get to the stadium. Brighton's advice if you decide to use this site is to avoid the A27.

Car parking

Brighton advise us that Car Park A and Car Park C are sold out.

Car Park B (formerly Bridge Car Park) - BN1 9PW
The stadium is an 850-metre walk from this car park.

Spaces must be pre-booked in advance at a cost of £15. Book online HERE. You will receive a parking voucher to display. You will not be able to use this car park without pre-booking.

Brighton also tell us:
- There are no uncontrolled parking areas at the university campus or Brighton Aldridge Academy, entry is controlled on stewards.
- There is no on-street parking close to the stadium.
- Nearby residential areas are controlled by stewards.

Stadium entry guidelines

Travelling supporters are advised to arrive at least one hour before kick-off.

If you are planning to take a banner over the size of 150cmx150cm you will be required to obtain authorisation in advance. All banners require a valid safety certificate.

To gain authorisation, email supporter.services@bhafc.co.uk.

Brighton advise us of important changes that have been made from last season in terms of items now permitted into the stadium. This includes suitcases and large bags, solid containers and flasks. Only clear plastic water bottles of 500ml or lower will be permitted.

Pubs

Visiting supporters can visit Yates and Weatherspoon's on West Street in the city centre.
