October international fixtures for our players

Tue 09 October 2018, 11:27|Tottenham Hotspur

It’s a big week for our five-strong England contingent as they face two huge games in the UEFA Nations League.

Eric Dier, Harry Kane, Danny Rose, Kieran Trippier and Harry Winks will all hope to be involved when the Three Lions travel to Croatia on Friday and Spain three days later. ‘Winksy’ last played for England exactly a year ago yesterday (Monday) in a 1-0 victory in Lithuania before injury interrupted his season.

Gareth Southgate’s men will be keen to turn the tables on both opponents having lost 2-1 to Croatia in the World Cup semi-finals and by the same scoreline in their Nations League opener at home to Spain last month.

There are potential meetings with team-mates for four of our players as Davinson Sanchez’s Colombia travel to Cameron Carter-Vickers’ USA for a friendly while Lucas Moura’s Brazil face Argentina, for whom Juan Foyth could make his debut after being called up for the first time.

Many of our younger players are involved at various international age groups too – we've rounded up everything in our usual international fixtures bulletin below. All kick-off times are UK…
