Tue 24 July 2018, 19:34|Tottenham Hotspur

Harry Kane has been shortlisted for the 2018 Best FIFA Men’s Player award.

Our home-grown striker has enjoyed an incredible year for both club and country, recently leading England to their best finish at a World Cup since 1990 – fourth – and collecting the tournament’s Golden Boot with six goals in Russia.

Harry finished the 2017-18 season with 41 goals in all competitions to his name.

He makes up a 10-man shortlist that includes three other Premier League players – Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, Chelsea’s Eden Hazard and Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City – as well as French World Cup winners Raphael Varane, Antoine Griezmann and Kylian Mbappe.

Croatian captain and former Spur Luka Modric, last year’s winner Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona’s Lionel Messi are also up for the award, which will be presented at a ceremony in London on 24 September.
