Mauricio Pochettino gave a post-match update from Wembley after Eric Dier and Jan Vertonghen missed Saturday’s win against Burnley.

The manager reported: “After the game against Barcelona Jan suffered a problem in his quad. We need to assess him in the next few days.

“Eric started suffering a little with a virus last night and it was impossible for him to be available.”
