Malaysia Spurs treated to training session with Club coaches

Fri 30 November 2018, 10:11|Tottenham Hotspur

Members of Malaysia Spurs, one of our Official Supporters’ Clubs, have had a training session from two fully-qualified members of our Global Football Development coaching team.

Anton Blackwood and Shaun Harris are based permanently in Asia and work with players of all levels across the region, nurturing local talent as part of a groundbreaking football coaching programme which is delivered in partnership with AIA, our Global Principal Partner.

Last week, they visited Malaysia and delivered coaching sessions to 750 children, adults and AIA staff. During their visit, they took time out of their busy schedules to give 40 members of Malaysia Spurs and their children a coaching session at KLFA Football Centre in Kuala Lumpur.

Syahizan Amir, President of Malaysia Spurs, said: “I would like to express our gratitude to Anton and Shaun for organising a special coaching clinic for our members. It’s a privilege to meet authentic Club coaches and have the opportunity to learn new skills from them.”
