The full-back joined us from RC Lens in the summer of 2006, making his debut for us on the opening day of the 2006-07 season at Bolton.
He went on to make 25 appearances in his maiden season at the Lane before a knee injury cut short his campaign and subsequently limited him to just two showings in 2007-08.
But since the start of the 2008-09 campaign ‘Benni' has been a regular fixture in the side, mainly at left full-back but also operating on the opposite flank on occasion.
