Molly Bartrip didn't have to think twice about extending her stay with us after almost two years back at the Club.
The 26-year-old defender's new contract was announced on Thursday morning, and Molly was delighted to get the deal across the line.
“I’m really happy," she said. "The plan was always to stay here because I see the bigger picture of the Club, the ambition, and that’s what I want to be a part of."
Molly played every minute of every game in the Women's Super League last season, and has once again played more than any other player so far in 2022/23.
“I can be myself here, I feel happy here and this environment is the right one for me," she explained. "That’s all I’ve wanted my whole career."
With five important games remaining in the current campaign, Molly is full of confidence that we can end the season on a high.
“It’s a big, exciting stage of the season for us now," she said. "I believe in us as a group, and we’ve got the capabilities of getting five more wins.”
