Ryan Mason has talked us through his squad selection for our Premier League finale at Leicester City this afternoon (4pm).
Serge Aurier is struggling with illness while Giovani Lo Celso, Tanguy Ndombele and Moussa Sissoko aren’t fit enough to be involved. Matt Doherty has come in for injured Japhet Tanganga and Davinson Sanchez starts for Eric Dier, who is on the bench.
Speaking at the KP Stadium, Ryan explained: “There were a few injuries, players who couldn’t make the squad and we felt it was right for Davinson to come in, Eric was struggling the other night with an injury that he’s been playing through, although he’s fit enough to be here.”
On the game, Ryan added: “It’s a must-win game, we know that. It’s a must-win game for them as well, so it’s two teams knowing the importance of the match. We have to be ready to fight and hopefully we’ll win the game.”
