Zeki lauds Christian's influence

Young defender Zeki Fryers has added his voice to the growing chorus of praise for Christian Eriksen.

Our Danish international star has been in sparkling form of late, contributing assists and goals in abundance from a left-sided midfield position.

His performances have even led to him being nominated for April's FTBpro PFA Fan Player of the Month Award.

Zeki, who was on the pitch when Christian bagged our late equaliser at West Brom and subsequently got two assists in last weekend’s 3-1 win against Fulham, has hailed the influence of the 22-year-old attacking midfielder.

“I think Christian’s now found a vein of form where he can really do well,” Zeki said.

“He’s a great player. He knows that, we know that and he does the team the world of good.

“From his form, his crosses, his assists and his passes we can get the goals we need – and of course he can hit the target himself as well!”
