Zeki Fryers insists he’ll continue to ‘give everything’ when called upon as we approach the end of the campaign.
The 21-year-old defender stepped off the bench at half-time last weekend as we recovered from a hefty deficit to draw 3-3 at West Bromwich Albion.
Normally a left-back, Zeki put in a shift in a central position – and also got 45 minutes under his belt for our Under-21s in their 1-0 defeat to Manchester United at White Hart Lane on Monday evening.
It’s that kind of willingness to work hard that stands a player in good stead moving forward – and that’s not lost on the versatile defender.
“I’m training hard, keeping fit and giving everything,” Zeki said.
“There are four games left this season but I’ll keep working hard, look to impress and hopefully I’ll get some more game time.”
