Youths' last-minute agony

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Spurs U17s 1 Millwall 1

We were denied victory by a last minute Millwall goal in a scrappy encounter on Saturday.

Starting with three schoolboys Rakesh Dhall, Danny Foster and Ben Eaton, it was Eaton whose work helped us take an early lead through John Sutton with just three minues on the clock.

That looked like being enough to take the points until the final minute when Millwall struck.

Boss Jimmy Neighbour admitted: "We started well, but it was a bit of a battle and, to be honest, no team really deserved to win.

"A draw was a fair result but obviously it was disappointing to concede the goal in the last minute."

Spurs U17s: Burch, Lee, Dhall (O'Donoghue 80), Marney, Henry, Foster, Hughes, Thomas (Wetner 59), Sutton, Eaton (Newman 59), Galbraith. Unused: Rutherford, Vedeux.

Spurs U19s 0 Crystal Palace 0

Boss Pat Holland admitted: "This was disappointing after some good recent performances."

Spurs U19s: Attwell, Kelly (Burke 45), Lacy, Makumbu, Quilter, Fortune, Consorti, Bowditch, Kamanan, Jackson, Ferguson (Barnard 80). Unused: Gardiner, Partin, Di Giuliantonio.
