Young people boost employment skills at StubHub workshop
03 August 2016|Tottenham Hotspur
A group of 10 youngsters from the local community were invited to visit StubHub’s London office this week as part of an exercise designed to boost their employability skills.
The group, aged 16-24, are part of Tottenham Hotspur Foundation’s Pre-Apprenticeship Scheme, delivered in partnership with StubHub, the Club’s Official Ticket Marketplace Partner, which helps unemployed young people get the skills, knowledge and experience needed to secure an apprenticeship or future work.
During the visit, the young apprentices were given the chance to see first-hand what it’s like to work in a business environment as well as gain inspiration from members of the team at StubHub, who shared their personal career stories.
Kofi Appiah, a participant on the Tottenham Hotspur Pre-Apprenticeship Scheme, said: “The visit to StubHub made me realise how important it is to get work experience as this can really help to set you apart from other candidates going for the same apprenticeship or job.”
