More Spurs fans have been in touch with us to share their experiences at the World Cup in Brazil – detailing everything from the atmosphere inside the stadiums to the chance to handle baby crocodiles in the Amazon!
We’ve been hearing from Drew Maher (Dallas Spurs), Christopher Compeggie (Seattle Spurs), Rob Ahlers (Amsterdam Spurs) and Yolan Strobbe (Flemish Spurs), along with our former Academy player Destin Makumbu, about their plans and adventures at the world’s most prestigious footballing event.
Their recent updates inspired more of our supporters to email in – check out their photos and stories below...

There are four of us in Rio for 10 days. Two of us are Spurs fans, myself and Conor O'Reilly, and we’re both season ticket holders at the Lane. We took this photo with Glenn Hoddle on Copacabana Beach while he was filming for television coverage.
We landed in Brazil on Saturday and the following day we went to Argentina vs Bosnia. It was very special, not only for the fact that around 50,000 Argentina fans at a World Cup game makes for an incredible atmosphere, but it really hits home that you've actually made it to the World Cup when you walk up in to the Maracana.
The locals are all really friendly and we've enjoyed some great banter with a variety of fans – the highlight being trying to teach the Argentine fans songs about Ardiles, Villa and Lamela!
The FIFA fan park is full of atmosphere and has been a great place for us to try and complete a World Cup challenge – getting pictures with fans from all 32 countries.
After a long day queuing for Christ the Redeemer on Tuesday, we were able to watch Brazil's game against Mexico at a bar atop the Corcavado – with stunning views over Rio – with fans from both teams.
We’re off to Spain vs Chile on Wednesday evening which might be a close-run thing.
Although difficult to fit tourist attractions in around three games of football a day, we're hoping to squeeze everything in during the time we have left – we're especially looking forward to our final game between Belgium and Russia and cheering on the Spurs boys in the Belgium side!

It's been an amazing but draining first few days in Brazil. My dad and I completed our fourth flight in six days on Tuesday afternoon as we touched down in Sao Paulo for the second time, ready for England’s second group game.
We originally arrived in Sao Paulo on Thursday where we crammed into a packed out fanfest in the city centre to witness Brazil’s victory over Croatia in the opening game. It was an incredible atmosphere.
The next morning saw us get the four-hour internal flight to Manaus, which we boarded with former England international Steve McManaman. We arrived mid-afternoon to the well-documented searing Manaus heat. Temperatures remained between 31 and 34 degrees during our time and I've never experienced humidity like it!
On the day of the England game, fans gathered in the Teatro Amazonas square in downtown Manaus and decorated the Opera House stairway with the famous St George’s flag; you can see my own THFC printed flag in the photo above.
It was a disappointing result against Italy but there are some encouraging signs to take into the final two group games. It was a difficult atmosphere from England fans’ point of view as the locals seemed to side with Italy.
Away from the England games, the majority of our time has been spent again in Teatro Amazonas watching as much of the football as possible and of course drinking Brazilian beer, which tastes so much better due to the fact it's around £1 a can!
On our final full day, we boarded a boat which took us into the mouth of the Amazon where we met the local Dessana tribe, who performed tribute dances for us, and we learned their way of living. We then travelled to the Meeting of the Waters. This is a phenomenon where the flow of the Amazon and Rio Negro rivers collide but the waters do not mix. One is brown and the other is black. The divide is clear to see for miles and each side has a different temperature. An unforgettable experience!
As I said, we’ve now arrived in Sao Paulo again, ready to spend the next six days here. This will include watching the England v Uruguay game – so be on the look-out for that THFC flag again!

My wife and I are one week into a four-week trip to Brazil and, boy, what a week! It started with a cancelled flight that set us back 24 hours but when we finally arrived in Manaus we headed straight to the Amazon rain forest. This trip included two speed boat rides, one of which was conducted in heavy rain and meant when we got to our basic lodgings we were soaked through. We were greeted with a 5am wake-up call so we could see the sun rise. I have never seen it in such a beautiful setting. We were surrounded by dolphins looking at the vastness of the Amazon sky.
We completed a three-hour trek through some of the natural woodland areas, while the evening ended with a night time boat trip looking for caiman crocodiles. We found a two-month-old baby caiman that we were able to hold.
We then travelled back to Manaus for England’s opening game against Italy. The atmosphere was enjoyable, as was the performance, but the only disappointment we have had all trip was the result. Let's hope England can put that right against Uruguay.
We later travelled to Argentina to see the amazing Iguazu Waterfalls. The highlight of the trip was a boat ride through the waterfalls where you get to feel the enormity of the water pressure that falls from such a great height.
We arrived in São Paulo on Tuesday night ahead of a day of sightseeing and no doubt will be able to complete a couple of pub reviews by the time the day is out so that we feel fully prepared for Thursday's match!
This is my fourth World Cup and my wife's second, having had our honeymoon in South Africa. We are also celebrating our fourth anniversary. Our only hope is that England get to the knockout stages where no doubt we will get to enjoy the drama of another penalty shoot out somewhere along the way!
