Nacer Chadli recognizes the strengths of Russia as he and his Belgian compatriots prepare for their second match at the World Cup in Brazil.
Our attacking midfielder started for Belgium alongside Spurs team-mates Jan Vertonghen and Mousa Dembele in their 2-1 win against Algeria on Tuesday.
And with a tricky test against Fabio Capello’s Russia on the way on Sunday, kick-off 5pm, Nacer is acutely aware of the challenges his nation will face.
“Russia have a good team and they’re at most tournaments, so we have to be careful,” he said.
“They have a lot of experience in their team with good players who play for good clubs, top clubs, and so we have to be ready.
“It is again important for us to stay focussed for every minute.”
