Wins for England trio and Wanyama, stalemate for Eriksen

26 March 2017|Tottenham Hotspur

Kyle Walker, Eric Dier and Dele Alli helped England see off Lithuania to maintain their unbeaten run in 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying on Sunday (March 26).

All three players started and completed the full game as the Three Lions won 2-0 at Wembley, with ex-Spur Jermain Defoe, making his first appearance for the national team since 2013, joined by Jamie Vardy on the scoresheet.

Elsewhere in World Cup qualifying, Christian Eriksen found himself up against former Spurs team-mate Vlad Chiriches as Denmark travelled to Romania. However, his side was forced to settle for a point as the game ended goalless. Christian played the whole match.

Earlier in the day, Victor Wanyama put in a 90-minute shift for Kenya as they won 2-1 at home to DR Congo in a friendly.
