The Express runs a story with Anthony Gardner that first appeared in the Evening Stadard where the defender reveals that Glenn Hoddle had a few choice words to say after last week's defeat against Manchester City.

Anthony is quoted: "The gaffer had a few words to say to us after the defeat by Manchester City and he was right. What he said needed to be out in the open.

"Since I've been here, that is the angriest I have ever seen him and to be honest all the players thought he was justified."
