The Sun says Glenn is on the trail of Dean Richards, a player first linked to Spurs last season. Reportedly valued at £10m, it is said that Southampton would not be keen on parting with the big central defender.
Les hands out Ferd degree
In a report of the Reading game, the reporter, obviously not a regular Spurs watcher, writes that Spurs fans booed Stephen Carr for backing Sol Campbell's departure from the club. Clearly can't tell his 'shooooots' from his boos.
A snippet at the end of the report says Spurs are signing Everton's Norwegian goalkeeper Thomas Myhre in a £750,000 deal.

Gray blocks Petrescu hopes of Spurs move
Not much about today, but the Express says Southampton boss Stuart Gray will not allow Romanian Dan Petrescu to follow Glenn to Spurs, despite the £4m capture of Rory Delap from Derby. The snippet makes no mention of any bid or enquiry from Spurs for the 33-year-old.
