Walker for Leicester

The Express say Walks is expected to complete his transfer to Leicester for around £2m in the next 24 hours. He is reported to be having a medical at Filbert Street on Saturday.

Do a Becks and beat the hate mob

Ben Thatcher says Sol Campbell should follow the lead of David Beckham in attempting to overcome any crowd abuse following his departure to Highbury.

Ben is quoted as saying: "There are one or two individuals out there who will take Sol's departure completely the wrong way. We saw the sort of reaction he can expect when avid Beckham returned from the World Cup after being sent off against Argentina.

"But he's obviously thought about the repercussions and he has the strength of character to come through it as well as Beckham did - if not better.

"I watched him talking in the press conference. He spoke well and showed that he thinks a lot about what he's going to say. He has a great attitude to the game and he'll come through this. He showed real guts moving to Highbury because he knows more than most about the strong rivalry between fans of the two clubs."

At the end of the report, Glenn warns fans not to consider Goran Bunjevcevic a replacement for Sol, saying: "We signed Goran with the idea of Sol staying. He is a totally different player to Sol."

Solace for Sol from pal Carr

Stephen Carr has come out in support of Sol after his controversial leaving. Stephen is reported as saying: "If I was in Sol's position I would have left as well.

"I wish him all the best at Highbury. It must have been a tough decision and I admire his courage. He is big enough to handle whatever flak he gets from Spurs fans."
