'We're strong and we showed it again' - Erik

Erik Lamela said he was relieved to atone for his first-half miss by smashing home goal number three against Manchester United on Sunday.
The Argentine international latched onto Danny Rose’s low ball in from the left to fire beyond United stopper David De Gea and complete a 3-0 victory for us at White Hart Lane.
Dele Alli and Toby Alderweireld had hit the target moments earlier as we embarked on a blistering run of three goals in six minutes with just under 20 minutes to go, although we might have seized the upper hand earlier in the game when Erik headed wide at the back post from Christian Eriksen’s cross.
The attacking midfielder admitted afterwards that he regretted spurning that opportunity, but he was nevertheless overjoyed at the final outcome as we ensured the gap between ourselves and Premier League leaders Leicester City remained at seven points following the Foxes’ victory at Sunderland earlier in the day.
“The game was tough,” he said. “Manchester United started well, they created a lot of chances, we did as well and I missed that header – sometimes we miss and sometimes we score but I’m pleased because after that I scored and the team did very well in the second half.
“I’m very happy that we won – obviously Leicester also won but we stayed focused and did our job. We are strong and we showed that one more time.
“The most important thing was that we scored three goals and got the win for our supporters. It was incredible to get three goals in six minutes and it was a nice feeling for us and our fans. Now we can recharge our batteries for the next game at Stoke.”
