We'll play on front foot - Harry
25 September 2015|Tottenham Hotspur
Harry Kane is only thinking forward as we prepare to face City tomorrow (Saturday, September 25).
City have put together a squad packed full of attacking options led by Sergio Aguero with the likes of Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva, Jesus Navas and Samir Nasri all buzzing around him.
They are top of the table after five wins in six, their perfect start to the Premier League halted by West Ham last weekend.
But Harry isn’t thinking about what City might bring to the table in the early kick-off (12.45pm) at the Lane.
He’s focused on what we do - and happy to leave City’s forward line to a defensive unit that has kept three-successive clean sheets in the Premier League.
“Any team we play we’re looking to get on the front foot, to press, to get high up the pitch, get bodies forward and get numbers in the box,” said Harry.
“It doesn’t matter what strikers they have - they have quality all around the pitch - but if you want to be up there in the Premier League you have to cope with that.
“Our defence has been fantastic all season and we’ve now kept three clean sheets on the trot in the Premier League. The team is heading in the right direction.
“We feel we’re capable of beating anyone in this league and the way we’re playing at the moment, we’ll go out there, play our attacking style and try to win the game.”
