Harry Kane said the players were straight back to business after the euphoria of the win against Chelsea with a tricky FA Cup trip to Burnley on the horizon.
The team was outstanding in the 5-3 victory against the Premier League leaders on New Year’s Day with Harry grabbing the headlines again with a two-goal show.
Danny Rose, Andros Townsend and Nacer Chadli also scored on a night to remember at the Lane.
But Harry says the team re-focused quickly with the third round tie at Turf Moor looming – we kick-off at 7.45pm on Monday night.
“We all enjoyed the win against Chelsea but we won’t get carried away,” said Harry, who took his tally to 17 goals in all competitions.
“We’ll keep our feet on the ground and look forward to this game.
“We want to do well in all competitions and Burnley away will be a tough tie for us.
“Burnley are a good side, played well at White Hart Lane (we beat them 2-1 in the Premier League on December 20) and they’ve enjoyed some good results recently. It will be difficult for us, without a doubt.”
