Michael Dawson has this message ahead of this week's huge matches against Benfica and Arsenal: "Let’s stick together."
The skipper insists it’s ‘all to play for’ as we take on the Portuguese giants in the first leg of our Europa League, Round of 16 tie at White Hart Lane on Thursday night (8.05pm) before the North London derby back at the Lane on Sunday.
It’s another test of character after Saturday’s disappointing loss at Stamford Bridge.
“It hurts us as players and I know it hurts the fans, but we have to stick together,” said the skipper, who suffered a hamstring injury during that 4-0 defeat.
"We keep talking about it, unfortunately, but we have to keep showing huge character when we’ve lost in the way we have
“Now it’s Benfica over two legs and we’ve got it all to play for.
“We’ve got to bounce back then it’s Arsenal, and that needs no building up, we know what it means to everyone, the club, the supporters.
"We’ll go out there and give it our all.”
