We'll be ready for U's - Kevin
30 January 2016|Tottenham Hotspur
Kevin Wimmer has only been in England for six months - but he already knows not to take any FA Cup tie lightly.
That's certainly the case as we travel to Colchester United from League One in the fourth round of the famous old competition this afternoon (Saturday, January 30, 12.45pm).
Austrian international Kevin was outstanding as we beat Leicester City 2-0 in a third round replay to book a fourth round date at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
It's a classic FA Cup tie - and Kevin will be ready.
"Everyone knows in cup games - and I also had experienced this in Germany - it’s never easy when you play away against a team like this from League One," said the central defender who made his Premier League debut off the bench for Jan Vertonghen at Palace last weekend.

"People think the Premier League team will win easily but it's never like that. We know we’re favourites and if we play like we did in the replay at Leicester we’ll go through and that’s all we want.
"But we know it will be tough and we have to put everything we have into this game. We want to go through and we will work hard for it. We want to go as far as possible in the FA Cup."
