'We must use the ball well' - Christian

Christian Eriksen expects us to be on the ball against Crystal Palace – in more ways than one.

We return to Premier League action at White Hart Lane on Saturday, having picked up 10 points from a possible 12 in our last four domestic outings.

Christian, this week named the Danish Football Players’ Association Player of the Year for 2013, has been ever-present in the side in all of those games.

And the versatile midfielder believes remaining focussed and ensuring we use possession to our advantage are key attributes as we strive to see off the Eagles at the weekend.

“We’ll probably have the ball more, but we just have to use the ball well against what could be a defensive team,” said the 21-year-old.

“Every game is difficult but I believe we can maintain our good run of form in the league and pick up another win.

“We’ve played some good games in the Premier League over the last month and hopefully we can build on that.

“We’re determined to get the three points on Saturday.”
