We have to keep going - Harry

Harry Redknapp insists it’s still all to play for as we bid for a place in the top four again this season.

Harry Redknapp insists it’s still all to play for as we bid for a place in the top four again this season.

Simon Cox’s 81st-minute strike denied us victory over West Brom in Saturday's 2-2 draw at White Hart Lane.

A win would have moved us a point ahead of Manchester City and into fourth place but instead City’s 1-0 win at Blackburn on Monday leaves them four points clear with five games remaining.

It looks like being a nail-biting end to the season again – not least as we travel to Eastlands on Tuesday, May 10.

But first we have another huge London derby against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday with the Blues determined to push Manchester United all the way in the defence of their Premier League title. United are six points clear though.

“It’s going to be difficult but we’re still in there and it’s still all to play for,” said Harry. “We just have to keep going and finish as high as we can.

“If we finish in the top four again it would be fantastic. If not, we try again next season.

“Saturday was a blow, but everyone has them. There are no easy games. I knew West Brom would be difficult and so it proved. They are a good team in good form and we couldn’t quite get over the finishing line.

“But we pick ourselves up, we’ve a big game at Chelsea next and we’ll get ready for that.

“It’s been a great season, we’ve had an unbelievable run in the Champions League, and the football we’ve played has been right out of the top drawer. And it’s not over yet.”
