Sebastien Bassong aims to go out of the World Cup on a high with Cameroon tonight.

The Indomitable Lions are already out of the reckoning for the knockout stages after defeats against Japan and Denmark in Group E.

Sebastien and Spurs team-mate Benoit Assou-Ekotto now face group leaders Holland in Cape Town.

It's the final act in an historic tournament for Cameroon - an African team in the first World Cup on African soil - and Seb wants to go out in style.

"The manager might change things around but I'm desperate to play, I want to play all the games," Seb told us exclusively from South Africa earlier in the week.

"The next World Cup is four years away and I want to enjoy the last game in this World Cup.

"You have to relish the World Cup. Okay, our results have been disappointing, but the World Cup is still the World Cup, it only comes around every four years.

"Maybe in four years we won't qualify, maybe I won't be in the squad, you never know what might happen. I just want to play and go out with a win."

Cameroon kick-off at 7.30pm while at the same time, Denmark and Japan have a shoot-out in Rustenburg to join Holland in the last 16.

Group F is also concluded today with Italy up against Slovakia and New Zealand facing Paraguay, both kicking-off at 3pm. All four teams can still qualify.

Meanwhile, there was good and bad news for Spurs fans from the England camp on Thursday morning.

Ledley King was back out on the training ground after spending the last 10 days recovering from the groin injury he suffered in the opener against the USA.

However, Aaron Lennon sat it out with an ankle injury that ruled him out of the 1-0 win against Slovenia on Wednesday.

We've pictures of Ledley, Peter Crouch, Michael Dawson training with England this morning at the top of the page plus Giovani dos Santos training with Mexico ahead of their last 16 clash against Argentina on Sunday.
