Harry Kane says it’s important to address today’s game at West Bromwich Albion with renewed focus.
We travel to play the Baggies on the back of a fine 5-1 home victory over Sunderland on Monday evening.
This afternoon’s match represents another test against a side in need of additional points to steer clear of the Premier League’s bottom three.
Harry, who capped a fine performance against the Black Cats with his first Premier League goal, is very much aware of the state of play heading into the contest.
“It’s going to be a tough game,” he warned. “West Brom are obviously down there fighting for their lives and every game they play they’re going to fight hard to try and win.
“We’re aware of that but we’ve got to focus on our own game plan and play the way we can.
“We are obviously coming off a great result against Sunderland who are in a similar situation, but we’re focussed and we know what we’ve got to do.
“That doesn’t mean it’s going to come easy, though. We’ve still got to work hard and do the right things. We’ll be doing that today.”
Harry’s fellow front man Emmanuel Adebayor had similar sentiments to convey ahead of our trip to The Hawthorns.
“This week we’ve shown good focus after the Sunderland game,” he said.
“It’s another new game and we just have to keep focussed, keep fighting and keep the team spirit up.”
