Watford v Spurs - Mauricio's preview
01 December 2017|Tottenham Hotspur
Mauricio Pochettino expects a tough test as we aim to get back to winning ways at Watford.
The Hornets have stung Arsenal and drawn with Liverpool at Vicarage Road this season, pushed United all the way on Tuesday and have recent wins against Newcastle and West Ham under their belt.
Marco Silva has won plenty of plaudits for Watford’s stye of play as they go into the weekend a place behind us in eighth.
“Watford are a very physical team, so strong and they are doing great this season,” said Mauricio, who looks set to have Harry Winks back in contention after illness.
“It will demand a lot of effort from us but in the same way, it’s a good opportunity to go out there and try to take away all the bad feelings.
“It will be high-tempo, they are an aggressive team and it will be tough. This type of game arrives at a good moment for us because for us, it’s so important to try to win games and build momentum.”
