Vlad Chiriches clutched his Man of the Match Award at Old Trafford and declared: "That felt great!"
The centre-back faced a real scrap alongside Michael Dawson and the rest of the defence as we faced a United barrage in the final 15 minutes with us leading 2-1 at Old Trafford.
Hugo Lloris made a couple of late saves as we held on for a fine win after goals from Emmanuel Adebayor and Christian Eriksen.
That final surge from United didn’t tell the whole story of the game though as we created a host of chances either side of our goals.
Head Coach Tim Sherwood later said the lads displayed ‘hearts of lions’ to secure a second-successive win at the ‘Theatre of Dreams’.
It was also the first time we’ve managed four-successive away wins in the Premier League – the last time we achieved that feat was under Terry Venables in the old Division One in 1989.
“It was hard out there,” said Vlad, who took the MOM Award from BT Sport. “We didn’t have a lot of the ball at the end but we won, and that’s fantastic.
“The last 10 minutes they came at us so hard, we kept fighting and fighting. We showed good spirit and fought until the end.
“We deserved this win. It helps our confidence. Everyone is happy.”
