Vincent’s taste of home
30 September 2016|Tottenham Hotspur
Vincent Janssen may have not expected to find such a significant part of Dutch culture helping change the lives of young people in his new home of Tottenham.
A Cruyff Court was donated by the Johan Cruyff Foundation to the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation in 2012 and resides on the Ferry Lane estate, providing a safe sporting environment for youngsters during the evening.
The Courts exist across Europe, promoting community cohesion and respect among those who make use of them and Vincent, as winner of this year’s Johan Cruyff Award after topping the Eredivisie scoring charts for AZ Alkmaar last season, will get to donate one to his hometown of Heesch.
This week, he joined our Foundation to see how the Ferry Lane version is put to use by participants on our Kicks project.
