Villa vs Spurs - Mauricio's preview

Mauricio Pochettino isn’t concerned about Villa's form as we travel to Villa Park on Sunday - he's just concentrating on us.

After a bright start, Villa have lost five on the spin in the Premier League without scoring a goal.

But Mauricio is focused on our performance, ironing out ‘some mistakes’ from last weekend’s loss against Newcastle and travelling home from Birmingham with a positive result.

“In the Premier League all games are difficult, all opponents are tough and we expect a tough match at Villa Park,” said the Head Coach.

“We look at ourselves first. It’s important how we are. We need to be solid and produce a very good performance.

“We need to fix some things from the last game against Newcastle. We realise we made some mistakes and it’s important the players realise that situation.

“At the start of the season Villa were good, maybe now they are in a period similar to us, but we go to Villa Park to try to get the victory.”
