Victor hails fellow midfield man Mousa

Victor Wanyama believes he’s already ‘clicked’ with Mousa Dembele.
The Kenyan international skipper, a summer signing from Southampton, partnered Belgian workhorse Mousa in the centre of midfield for the first time in last weekend’s 1-0 victory over Sunderland with Eric Dier dropping in at centre-half.
Victor, who ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Middlesbrough has started all of our Premier League games so far this season, was keen to highlight the talents of his midfield colleague, who has recently returned from a six-match suspension dating back to the end of last term.
And he is excited by the prospect of teaming up with him again in future, should Mauricio Pochettino choose to deploy a similar line-up.
“Mousa is a very good player, I think we clicked very well against Sunderland and I’m looking forward to playing alongside him even more if I can,” said Victor, who spent three years at St Mary’s following a stint in Scotland with Celtic.
“It’s clear that he has very good change of pace and he reads the game well.
“You can see why the supporters love him and he’s very important for our team. I think we worked very well together and I think we can make a good partnership whenever we get the chance to play.”
