US fans back Noah’s Ark
18 August 2016|Tottenham Hotspur
Despite the season only being a week old, victory has been claimed in a North London derby of sorts resulting in over £3,000 being raised for Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice.
Cartilage Free Captain, one of the most popular Tottenham Hotspur blogs in North America, laid down the gauntlet to its Arsenal counterpart, The Short Fuse, to see who could raise the most money for a selected charity in the space of a week.
The prize for the winner was being given the opportunity to write and edit the rival website for a day and our friends at Cartilage Free Captain managed to raise £3,138 ($4,084) for our Official Charity Partner, with The Short Fuse raising $2,411 for the US National Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
A great effort from both sets of fans, once again proving how supporters either side of the North London divide are willing to put their rivalries aside for worthy causes.
