Updated travel advice for fans in Florence

26 February 2015|Tottenham Hotspur

Following UEFA security meetings this morning, we have additional, updated advice for our fans in Florence for this evening's Europa League Round of 32, second leg.

Shuttle buses will run from the main railway station to the Artemio Franchi Stadium from 4pm to 6pm and return post match.

Italian authorities strongly advise all Spurs fans to use these buses as there are road closures in place around the stadium which mean taxi's and private vehicles cannot get close to the stadium.

Security checks and searches will take place outside our four dedicated turnstiles (two each at Gates T13 and T14) and fans are advised to arrive as early as possible to ensure entry before the kick off of 7pm local time.

Supporters are reminded that in accordance with Italian law, passports must be carried with match tickets. Supporters without the correct documentation may be refused entry.

We have been advised that there will be a hold back of our fans of between 30-60 minutes after the final whistle to allow the area to clear. Supporters will not be allowed to leave the stadium prior to the end of the game.

As always, we thank our travelling fans for their outstanding support in Europe.

If you experience any problems whilst in Florence, please call the Travel Line - 07971 880445 - and we will endeavour to assist.
