Goals that have won us trophies, goals that have kept us up, goals that have wowed the crowds – some of our all-time greatest forwards have contributed plentiful, sometimes hundreds, of key strikes.
With so many legendary front men – from our all-time top marksman Jimmy Greaves to 1990s hotshot Gary Lineker, to European record-breakers Martin Chivers and Jermain Defoe, to German hero Jurgen Klinsmann – having worn our colours, picking a front two in your Ultimate Team promises to be no easy task!

First up, Jimmy Greaves, Clive Allen and Robbie Keane...
JIMMY GREAVES
Seen by many as the greatest goalscorer of all-time - let alone at Spurs - Jimmy tops our all-time goalscoring list with a staggering 266 goals in 379 appearances between 1961-70. Snapped up by Bill Nicholson in the season after we won the double, Jimmy formed a lethal partnership with Bobby Smith and scored in the final as we retained the FA Cup at Wembley and twice in the final as we made history by landing the European Cup Winners Cup in 1963. Jimmy added the 1967 FA Cup to his Spurs haul and eventually joined West Ham in 1970. Jimmy also stands fourth in England's all-time list with 44 goals in 57 caps and was part of the 1966 World Cup winning squad.
CLIVE ALLEN
One of the great goalscorers, Clive bagged 84 goals for us in 135 appearances between 1984-88 but will always be remembered for an incredible 49-goal campaign in 1986-87. Playing the lone striking role in David Pleat's 4-5-1 system, Clive fed off Glenn Hoddle, Chris Waddle and Ossie Ardiles to bag 33 league goals and another 16 in cup action - 12 in the League Cup - as we finished third in Division One, runners-up in the FA Cup and reached the semi-final of the League Cup. Son of double-winner Les, Clive joined us from QPR in 1984. His exploits in 1986-87 earned the PFA/Football Writers Player of the Year double and he eventually moved to Bordeaux in 1988. He returned to the club's coaching staff in 2004, took our reserves to the title in 2006, held the role of Development Coach as was part of Harry Redknapp's coaching team until 2012.
ROBBIE KEANE
A modern-day Spurs hero, Robbie helped us lift the League Cup in 2008 and remains 10th in our all-time goalscoring list with 122 goals in 305 appearances in all competitions in two spells at the club - 2002-08, 2009-11. Snapped up from Leeds in 2002, Robbie was an instant hit and his first spell ended with a superb strike partnership with Dimitar Berbatov that contributed 45 goals in 2007-08 and eventually landed silverware at Wembley. He returned from a short spell at Liverpool in January, 2009 initially helping Harry Redknapp's team away from the relegation zone and then into the Champions League. The Republic of Ireland's record goalscorer, Robbie joined LA Galaxy in 2012 and has won the lot in the MLS.
