Ultimate Team - midfielders, part 2

Voting is hotting up for the midfield spots in Spurs' Ultimate Team.

Gareth Bale leads the way at the moment from Glenn Hoddle, Paul Gascoigne and David Ginola - what a midfield quartet that would be!

There are numerous factors to consider - and with so many talented players having graced our midfield down the years, picking your four promises to be a tough task!

First off, the engine room needs players who could thrive in the middle of the park, winning back possession and driving us forward.

And then you need width. The pace and trickery of our wide men throughout the eras has been nothing short of dazzling, while a ball-playing maestro could provide that extra attacking flair from a central position.

To help you decide on your midfield quartet, we’ve split up the 18 candidates into sections.

Here’s a look at just three of the midfielders up for nomination...

DANNY BLANCHFLOWER
The inspirational captain of our double-winning team and often named our greatest-ever player, Danny left an indelible mark in 10 years at the club between 1954-64. A graceful, intelligent midfielder, Danny took Bill Nicholson's tactics from the dressing room to the pitch. Twice named Footballer of the Year in 1958 and 1961, Danny lifted the FA Cup and league championship in 1961, scored in the final as we retained the FA Cup in 1962 and was then skipper of the first British team to lift a European trophy as we won the European Cup Winners Cup in 1963. A knee injury eventually took its toll and Danny retired aged 38 in June, 1964 after 382 appearances for us.

MICKY HAZARD
Snapped up at an early age, Micky travelled down from Sunderland and progressed through the youth ranks to lift the FA Cup in 1982 and UEFA Cup in 1984. Superb on the ball with a knack of scoring big goals for us, he went on to play 170 times for us in two spells between 1980-1994, saving some of his best performances for our triumphant UEFA Cup run of 1984.

AARON LENNON
Speedy winger currently on loan at Everton is the longest-serving player in the current squad having joined us as a teenager from Leeds United in 2005. A League Cup winner in 2008, Aaron has made 362 appearances for us, scoring 30 times - incredibly, his unbeaten record every time he scores a goal for us remains intact. Capped 21 times by England, Aaron represented the Three Lions at the 2006 and 2010 World Cups.
