We would like to draw your attention to a number of important points regarding the current ticket status of our UEFA Cup Round of 32 tie against Feyenoord. The Dutch side have taken UEFA's decision to exclude them from the competition to a further appeal, which will be heard by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), with a decision is expected later this week.
Until a final outcome of the case has been determined there remains the possibility that our tie against Feyenoord will go ahead and the Club is preparing accordingly.
Supporters who have purchased tickets for the home leg should therefore retain them as the match may still proceed on 22 February as planned. If the last 32 tie does go ahead, the Club will advise supporters of plans for the away leg as soon as they are known.
In the event that CAS confirms UEFA's decision and we are awarded a bye to the last 16 of the UEFA Cup, supporters should still retain their Feyenoord tickets as they will remain valid for the home leg of our last 16 match (on either 8 or 15 March).
Supporters who are in the Club's Cup Guarantee scheme will, therefore, find their ticket valid for the next match in this competition. Any supporter, not on the Club's Cup Guarantee Scheme, who is holding a Feyenoord ticket and who would be unable to make the last 16 match, will be able to claim a refund.
If a bye is confirmed by CAS, season ticket holders who have not yet purchased a ticket for the Feyenoord match will be offered the chance to purchase a ticket for the last 16 match as close to their original seat as possible on a first come first served basis.
The decision to re-use Feyenoord tickets for the last 16 match has been taken due to the fact there will be too little time to process refunds and to re-allocate seats for the entire Stadium, particularly if we are drawn at home on 8 March.
We will keep you informed of any developments in this matter as soon as further details become available.
