U11s fly flag for ladies

The Under-11 side were the only Spurs Ladies side to emerge victorious from the weekend's fixtures after a 3-0 win at Denham United.

The Under-11 side were the only Spurs Ladies side to emerge victorious from the weekend's fixtures after a 3-0 win at Denham United.

Charlie-Leigh Dixon, Ellis Lunn and Rebecca Mills (pictured) got on the scoresheet, but it was not such good news elsewhere for the girls.

Despite a Nikki Hunnable free-kick giving the Under-15s the lead, they succumbed to a 3-1 away defeat at hands of table-toppers Luton Town, thus virtually ending their title hopes.

Meanwhile, the Under-13s had little response to a rampant QPR side, who ran out 5-1 winners at the Frederick Knights Sports Ground.

However, the Under-14s drew 1-1 at Harvesters in a clash between the two top sides in the division. The result means Spurs remain in the driving seat with one game remaining.

The Under-12s were given a bye through to the League Cup Final after Hampstead could not fulfil the fixture, while our Reserve side's Russell Cup tie with Fulham Compton was abandoned after 15 minutes due to a broken ankle suffered by Sophie Jackson with Spurs in the lead at 1-0.

We wish her a speedy recovery.
