TRIO SET FOR WEMBLEY

Academy youngsters Dean Parrett, Adam Smith and Andros Townsend are in line to play at the new Wembley Stadium.The trio have been named in the England U16 squad for a match against Spain at Wembley on Saturday 28 April, with Ryan Mason put on standby for the fixture.

The U16 game will be the second competitive game since the opening of the impressive 90,000 seater arena and will be an incredible occasion for the promising young players on show.

England U16 Coach Kenny Swain said: "I'm really looking forward to what will be a fantastic tribute to youth football. It's a marvellous opportunity for any young player to play at one of the best stadiums in the world."

Swain has selected 18 players for the match which will conclude a successful year in which the U16s won the Victory Shield. Seventeen of the squad also recently took part in the Montaigu Tournament, where England lost to Germany in the Final.
