Trio back from injury

English Barclays Premiership

Chris Armstrong, Willem Korsten and Jose Dominguez all returned to action after injury in a private friendly against Peterborough United on Thursday.

And all three came through 60 minutes unscathed in the 3-3 draw against Barry Fry's men at Spurs Lodge.

Striker Armstrong has been out since returning from the tour of Scandinavia with a groin problem, midfielder Korsten has recovered quickly from undergoing hip surgery last month while winger Dominguez has been sidelined with Achilles trouble.

Reserve team manager Chris Hughton said: "It was a very good run out for all three players, valuable match practice and all three came through okay."

The only disappointment was that defender Ledley King was not quite ready to return after his broken foot.

With the purpose of the friendly met it was left to Neale Fenn to grab the spotlight.

On target for the reserves against Chelsea at the Lane in midweek, Fenn struck twice as we came from behind twice to force a 3-3 draw.

"We had a lot of possession in their final third but the final ball let us down," added Hughton. "Still, it was a mixed side, we chopped and changed a lot and at the end of the day, the lads have to be given credit for keeping going."
