Tour 2017 - Ledley meets NHL stars in Nashville
29 July 2017|Tottenham Hotspur
The King met Nashville's ice hockey royalty on Friday.
Ledley King hooked up with Ryan Ellis and Austin Watson, members of the Nashville Predators team that reached the pinnacle of the National Hockey League (NHL) in 2016-17.
Both played over 70 of 82 regular season matches and then all 22 play-off matches as the Predators reached the Stanley Cup Final for the first time (the club started in 1998) in May.

They beat Chicago, St Louis and Anaheim Ducks to make it to the Stanley Cup Final - Watson scored twice in the Western Conference title-clincher - before losing out 4-2 to Pittsburgh Penguins.
The Predators pair were quickly sharing sporting stories with Ledley, our former skipper and now Club Ambassador.
Ledley also showed some ability with an ice hockey stick and puck, slamming home a few goals in a practice area adjacent to the dressing rooms in the impressive Bridgestone Arena.

We then laid down a challenge with Ledley taking on Austin and Ryan in a name game - where they had to guess sporting phrases from both sports - you can watch that video at the foot of the page!
It was then great to see all three sporting legends back together at our ICC match against Manchester City at the Nissan Stadium on Saturday - with Austin and Ryan both showing off their new Spurs kits!
