Tour 2016 - Ledley's Singapore stopover

Ledley King passed through Singapore on his way to join the team's pre-season trip to Melbourne, meeting supporters and launching a new AIA initiative.
Singapore Spurs Supporters Club (SSSC) were holding their 15th Anniversary Celebrations on Friday and were joined by the Club legend as a special guest.
Ledley took part in a Q&A session for over 100 fans in attendance, alongside Club Executive Director, Donna-Maria Cullen, talking about everything from his career highlights to his worst-dressed team-mates.

The night, held at the Ramada Hotel, also included speeches from a number of SSSC members and was rounded off by a prize draw and an autograph signing session with Ledley.
Earlier in the day, the former skipper launched a new AIA initiative at Kidzania - an award-winning amusement park and education centre for children located on Sentosa Island.
AIA have sponsored a sports facility within the complex, the Kidzania Stadium, and Ledley officially opened the arena, refereeing a 6-a-side football match between youngsters from Special Olympics Singapore and the Children’s Society of Singapore.

The Club has a long-standing relationship with Special Olympics, a global charity providing sporting opportunities to athletes with learning disabilities.
Ledley was also a panellist on a business seminar for some of AIA Singapore’s top agency leaders, speaking about the importance of leadership during his time as Club captain.
‘The King’ will now join up with the team in Melbourne, where he will support the Tour by taking part in our youth coaching clinics and fan engagement events.
