DeAndre Yedlin was delighted to see a couple of Kuala Lumpur’s major landmarks as he was joined on a trip around the city by Nacer Chadli, Erik Lamela and Benji Stambouli.
The quartet stepped out in front of the imposing Petronas Towers where they stopped for photographs before Nacer showed off his skills by doing a few kick ups with a sepak takraw – a traditional Malaysian football.
DeAndre said: “They are very impressive buildings – they are incredibly tall and it’s a very cool looking city.”
The heavens then opened and a thunder storm ensued, so it was a quick journey on to Central Market which was founded in 1888 and is a landmark for Malaysian culture and heritage.
The players were greeted by lots of Spurs fans and dropped in to visit a number of market traders to present them with Club scarves as gifts.
“It’s very cool to see so many Spurs fans come out to greet us,” added DeAndre. “It’s great to be able to meet them. It’s good to learn about different cultures and to see everything here first hand is brilliant.”
