Tour 2015 - lads visit Sydney Children's Hospital

29 May 2015|Tottenham Hotspur

Six players paid a visit to Sydney Children's Hospital on Friday morning.

Federico Fazio, Josh Onomah, Luke McGee, Michel Vorm, Grant Ward and DeAndre Yedlin hooked up with Sydney FC players Alex Gersbach, Chrisopher Naumoff, Anthony Bouzanis and Aaron Calver for the special visit ahead of our AIA Cup clash at the ANZ Stadium on Saturday (8pm local time).

The players were warmly received at the hospital in the eastern suburbs of the city and spent time chatting to kids and parents across three wards.

"It really is an unbelievable experience to be here," said DeAndre. "There is a lot in life bigger than sport and this is one of those things. To be able to come here and say 'hi' to the kids, knowing many of them won't be able to get to see us play Sydney on Saturday, is huge for us.

"It's great to be able to talk to the families and to put a few smiles on faces."
