NBA legend and Spurs fan Steve Nash trained with the squad in Toronto on Monday.
One of the greatest basketball players of his era, Steve is a two-time NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP, 2005, 2006 during with his time with Phoenix Suns) and has been selected 12 times for the All-Star game. He currently plays for LA Lakers.
Steve played a full part in training and impressed the lads in our first session in Toronto at Toronto FC's KIA Training Centre.
After training, he spoke with Mauricio Pochettino and his coaching staff and Mauricio presented him with a new home shirt.
Steve's Spurs connection is a family one with his father John born in Tottenham. He used to go to the Lane with John and his grandfather and has never lost the Spurs bug.
