Tour 2014 - Brad, Ledley, Paul meet fans in Toronto
Wed 23 July 2014, 18:00|Tottenham Hotspur
Local favourite Paul Stalteri joined Brad Friedel and Ledley King for our Supporters Evening in Toronto on Tuesday night.
Fans packed into the impressive Real Sports Bar & Grill with the Question & Answer session beamed out on a huge video screen to fans on two tiers.
Former Canadian international captain Paul, capped 84 times by his country and now a Toronto resident, played 56 times for us between 2005-2008 and was asked about his time at Spurs, Canadian football and his life after the game - and not forgetting that goal at West Ham in 2007!
The players answered questions for an hour before presenting Canada Spurs chairman John McClelland with a new signed home shirt and then signing autographs for everyone.
The evening was also attended the family of our late, great title-winning manager Arthur Rowe - including his son Graham, grandson Duncan and great-granddaughter Amy.
Arthur led us to the First Division title in 1951 and pioneered the famous 'push and run' style of play. His family is based in North America and Amy has recently been awarded a soccer scholarship at the University of Louisiana-Monroe in Monroe, Louisiana.
